Hi Please find the interview complete below. Thanks for your support.

Our Name is Mr Keep Calm

We are from the South West UK

Our journey has been playing in various incarnations based around the core of the band, Gary & James. Now playing as a two piece we are working on a new album and live show.

Our musical style has varied. We play acoustic sets occasionally but are now a semi electronic rock band. We are influenced by electronica and techno, folk and singer-songwriter, rock and metal and indie and alternative. Our style is eclectic but we have been compared to The Fall, Beck and The Kinks. We like to vary our style to keep interesting and learning new things.

Our last project is the album due to come soon and working on our new live set. We recently completed some Christmas songs which you can find on our Youtube alongside our other material. Our debut album as a band, Mr Keep Calm & The Cancelled Cheques - Digest, is on all major digital retailers.

The next thing planned is to continue with what we are doing! Not sure when our album will arrive but live shows are expected at the end of this year.

Our next song and video will be available probably by the time you read this. It’s a song called The Toast Fell Butter Side Down. We have created a lyric video too so you can sing along.

We are looking for opportunities to write songs for commercial applications. We have already completed a theme and end tune for a Cbeebies Radio production in the UK, commissioned by an independent producer for broadcast via the BBC. We would welcome the chance to create for independent film, TV, radio and commercials.

Thanks for your support!
