Kaiser and the Machines of Creation - KMC3

Biography

Originally founded in 2002 with an entirely different group of backing musicians, Kaiser and the Machines of Creation have gone through trials and tribulations to get to here, this new beginning...

After two line up changes, the second of which recorded the bulk of the album, 'Intraspection' in 2008, (the first line up recording 'Possession' among a host of demo's to be included on 'Intraspection'), Paul Kaiser recorded the purely instrumental album, 'Universal Mind' in 2011.

He followed this shortly after with the tribute album - 'The Ronnie James Dio Tribute Album by Paul Kaiser and Friends'.

This incorporated a bevy of Australian hard rock vocalists, recorded by Paul in his personal studio.

Around 2011, Paul met bassist, Steve Anderson and have since that time, worked towards the look and presentation that would become this 3rd incarnation.

Paul, a solo writer, had already begun prepping for the current release, 'Flowers and Lies' but it was 2017 before he had wrapped up the writing, and had felt satisfied with the new material and it's subject matter.

The new line-up, featuring Simon Timoshenko on drums and Matt Redmond on keys, was put into place and began rehearsing for the studio.

Now 2019 and the consummate work, 'Flowers and Lies' has been produced.

Recording commenced in Adelaide over Nov/ Dec 2018 and was completed in Jan/ Feb 2019 at Ghost Note Studios, South Australia.

The album was mastered at Studio 301, Sydney, Australia.

KMC3... is a concert band.

Barbara Borgelin

 Barbara Borgelin

Barbara Borgelin releases a new song August 28 2020 called Shaky Love. The arrangement is as shaky as the title and the lyrics. With a bluesy guitar and Barbaras rich voice it makes the listener want to dance and happy. It is not a traditional blues form, it could be best described as indie pop, the genre is a new variant / crossover of existing genres. The musicians are skilled and professional, and the lyrics are about a deep love between two persons , but could also be interpreted as a religious connection and because of that it fits various forms of playlists with themes such as  Love - Happy - Best female voices - Spirituality.

Vocals: Barbara Borgelin

Guitars: Jacob Goldmann Jensen

Organ / Piano: Ulrik Lindgreen

Bass: Carsten Pedersen

Producer: Johnny Bosen Christensen

“Their music is the confluence of 80’s post-punk with early 90s Alternative Rock, though the lens

of DDR’s sonic daydreams” – Post-Punk.com

Press Release

Band: Para Lia

Track: ‘Riders On The Dike’

Taken from the album ‘Gone With The Flow’

Single Release and Album Pre-order date Date: 31st July 2020

Album Release Date: 2nd October 2020

Riders On The Dike

‘Riders On The Dike’ is the lead track from the highly anticipated sophomore album release from alt

indie rockers Para Lia, the track also features the vocals of UK singer/songwriter Amanda Kim

Sanderson and the cover artwork comes from an original idea from the New York Artist Louis Renzoni,

a collaborative effort that runs throughout the album and that sees the artists’ work feature more

extensively. Both will feature in a forthcoming virtual music/art exhibition, date TBC.

With comparisons ranging from Phillip Boa and the Voodoo Club, Arcade Fire, The Mission, The Last

Shadow Puppets, Sebadoh and the Editors just who are Para Lia?..

Quite simply the band are René Methner (Songwriter, Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keys, Drum Programming)

and Cindy Methner (Vocals).

Their sound blending the melodic and atmospheric with the beating heart of Rene’s guitar. Pulling in

inspiration from various genre and previous generations their sound always retains the alternative

indie rock sound and mixes what’s great about retro with a good measure of freshness and originality.

Para Lia would be nothing without the soaring and ethereal vocal arrangements. René’s vocals stand

forefront, enhanced by the arrival of the splendour of Cindy’s voice.

Their debut album ‘Soap Bubble Dreams’ (2019) quickly enjoyed worldwide press coverage and

featured in 20 plus magazines, webzines and numerous blogs all unanimous in their praise for the

album. The lead single ‘Hawk Hill’ initially featured on 132 radio station playlists worldwide and

continues to see growth to date.

Riders On The Dike (with Amanda Kim Sanderson)

Lyrics

follow me, we're on the way

to make more out of today

and when we fail we change course

milestones won't move

but our creeping paths are pretty cool

we're the today's soft option fools

i don't know if it's too late

i don't know how long we'll stay

the idea is to go higher

fly over by my side

with curiosity in mind

we are on the loose

we are the riders on the dike

hand me over my fate

and stay with me along the way

if you come around i am okay

i don't know if it's too late

i don't know how long we'll stay

the idea is to go higher

fly over by my side

with curiosity in mind

we are on the loose

we are the riders on the dike

the riders on the dike

“If you like your indie/alt rock served via with

a loud and crunchy wall of sound, with dark,

offbeat atmospheres, coolly droning, mysterious

lead vocals and dreamy female harmonies, Para

Lia just might be your ticket” – JW Vibe

"René’s vocals are dark and sombre but they’re

nonetheless still very appealing. We’re taken

back to the likes of New Order and also artists

such as The Smiths and The Cure. There’s also a

very grungy feel to their sound, and it all comes

together to produce a sound of their very own."

CHAY SNOWDON

CHAY SNOWDON
‘TOUGH GUYS DIE FIRST’ - RELEASE DATE: 30th OCTOBER
‘Tough Guys Die First’ is the new indie-rock banger from Plymouth-based quartet Chay Snowdon. Taken from the band’s highly anticipated debut EP ‘Are You Sitting Comfortably?’, the song is a fast-paced, punchy ode to the bad guys of Hollywood cinema. Having spent his early years living in the Almeria province of Southern Spain, a hub for the filming of classic Spaghetti Westerns, Chay developed a love for the seminal films of this genre and became fascinated by the stereotypical ‘bad guy’ characters. ‘Tough Guys Die First’ explores the persistence of the bad guy, even when they know they’ll get what’s coming to them in the end!
The band features the anthemic riffs of Jack Hawkins on lead guitar; the thick and simplistic bass lines of George Roach; the strong, powerful drumming sections of Luke Westwood, which, when put together, provide a sublime wall of sound for Chay Snowdon to add his chugging rhythm guitar and uniquely powerful vocals. The EP was recorded at Cornwall’s Sawmill Studios and produced by John Cornfield (Muse, Supergrass, Razorlight).
The band’s last single, ‘What The Kids Want’, received repeat national and international radio plays from the likes of Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music, The New Rock Show on Planet Rock Radio and SiriusXM. The official music video for the song had its premiere aired via Music Crowns. The band have received regular support from BBC Introducing in the South West and were also invited to perform a live session for BBC Introducing in the West: “He has always been a great song writer and now he is making his songs sound absolutely fabulous I’m very proud to get him into the white room” Sam Bonham, BBC Introducing in the West.
