album review:

'Escape with me' Elisa Duwez's new single Electro Dance just released on all digital platforms, under the label iM Electronica. written in franco English , is a small positive message that Elisa wants to give to the world today, 'Escape with me, come into my world' change your philosophy, .... a little wink to dream to the people who in recent times have become a little 'depressed' letting oneself get a little too overwhelmed by external problems and bad news through the media, she tries to make them escape a little from everyday reality, 'and to change their philosophy and their way of seeing things, 'just try' and also do understand that we can find a few 'good vibes' in the things of the daily, nature, a flower, the sun, music (of course) etc ... make a smile to a unknown in the street, it can change the day and energy of a person, it takes to be happy .... this little message passed on a rhythmic electro dance music for the summer that makes you want to move, let's escape with Elisa!

Luna Kiss @lunakissband @sanpruk #music #promotion #tiorrplaylist #tiorr1 #onlyrockradio

BRIT ROCK COMBO REVEAL NEW LYRIC VIDEO TAKEN FROM NEW ALBUM!
Alternative Rock crew, LUNA KISS, charge into 2019 armed with the relaunch of their new album, Following Shadows, which showcases the emerging rockers’ deft ability to express gritty riffs, powerfully hooky vocals, and engulfing atmospheric passages that entwine and ignite the senses. LUNA KISS have also just unleashed a stunning lyric video for Not Afraid – https://youtu.be/_SKqlS84unc ; the track is taken from the band’s much anticipated debut album, Following Shadows, which arrives everywhere on Friday 12th April.
To date, LUNA KISS have released a number of very well received EPs, including Conjure and Sin (2013) and Gravity (2015). While these releases have created a solid foundation for the Coventry-based crafters, it was only last year that the quartet’s extraordinary, amorphous vision had truly come into sharp focus. Channelling influences taken from across the musical spectrum, LUNA KISS exhibit an admirably stoic refusal to be pinned down to one genre. Industry tastemakers are now beginning to latch onto the foursome with Kerrang.com, BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Powerplay Magazine, and BBC Introducing all backing and supporting the band. LUNA KISS’s forthcoming debut album, Following Shadows, is expected to vastly continue their growth. The record was recorded with esteemed producer John Mitchell (Enter Shikari/Architects) at the helm. The production is in absolute alignment with the band’s manifesto: distinctive and fresh, but still in tandem with the ongoing resurgence of contemporary rock. From the massively tuneful vigour of You Are and Hold On, to the metallic harmonies of Following Shadows, every moment indicates that this band have a bright and boundless future.
“Our live shows are dramatic, energetic and creative, and an extension of what you hear on the album” states drummer James Pedley. “We’ve toured through Europe, playing everything from small venues in small towns to major festivals in Amphitheatres, and it’s all really helped us to explore and challenge our sound”. Lead vocalist, Wil Russell, adds: “Following Shadows is the culmination of many musical influences and life experiences we have gathered during our time as a band – it’s the record we all wanted to make and we’re really proud of what we created. We’re looking forward to sharing it with everyone.”
Check out the band’s new lyric video for Not Afraid - https://youtu.be/_SKqlS84unc , and ready yourself for their mesmerising debut album Following Shadows, which lands on 12th April.

Locklin

Barry McLoughlin, aka Locklin is an Irish musician, whos sound can best be described for the most part as upbeat indie/rock.
Having released an EP with The Rumours a number of years back, the debut single 'Keep it Going' peaked at number 2 in the Irish download charts and was championed by Hotpress (Irelands premier music magazine) and also by Today FM DJ Alison Curtis, a Canadian national but based in Ireland.  A slot at the prestigious Electric Picnic music festival in Ireland followed that.  Said EP also contained 'Zeezu', another upbeat, melodic rock track.
Currently Locklin has recorded his debut solo EP and has already received airplay on UK radio recently (Nova Radio North East) The current EP, entitled 'Never Forget' contains 4 tracks with that familiar indie/rock sound as can be heard on 'Keep it Going'.
'Never Forget' was recorded at Twin Oaks Recording Studio in Ireland and mastered by London based mastering engineer Pete Maher, who has worked with the likes of U2 and Liam Gallagher among others.

Dumb Martian

Dumb Martian was formed by David Leverno
& Matt Berry in 2016 as a studio project.
The plan was to plug in, press record and
play.  The only agenda was that nothing at all
was pre written.
Once a ‘jam’ was recorded, it was listened
back to edited into a track and lyrics written.
The result of their labours is Dumb Martian’s
debut album ‘Eleven Hours’ out on
Tremolator Records (available on cd and
online). The album shows their shared love
of psychedelic rock, post rock and post punk.
Having finished the album, they have put together a band of like-minded music friends and collaborators to
perform the album live.
The album launch will be on the 28th of April at Nambucca (Holloway Rd London.)
More details on the website www.dumbmartian.co.uk
Or https://www.facebook.com/dumbmartian/ ( there is cheap tickets (list) if you join the Dumb Martian page.

The first single from the album, ‘Down in the Dirt’ is out now on iTunes, Spotify and all good digital platforms, and the video is on YouTube.

Brother to the Birds

1 & 2. What is your name? Where are you from?- Brother to the Birds. I'm Andrew Englezos from Melbourne, Australia

3. Tell us how your journey has been from your beginnings until now.
The songs on my EP were a culmination of 7 years of songwriting which started around the time I got married. A lot of the content in the tracks are about my life over those years.

4. Tell us about your musical style, influences
- My music is indie laid-back ethereal folk. Many of my songs are inspired by St Francis of Assisi and are about seasons of grief and hope. I love to use imagery of nature in my music. My main music influences range from Fleet Foxes, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Bjork, Simon and Garfunkel, Sting's solo stuff, Lord Huron and ethnic Turkish and Greek music. I also listen to a lot of electronic artists like Four Tet, Baths and Jon Hopkins.

5. What has been your last project?
- In 2013, we began recording six tracks with Dallas Cosmas and Wayne Rintoul at the Prototype Musique recording studio in a beautiful part of Melbourne called Briar Hill. The melodious birds and the tall trees surrounding the studio helped inspire the laid-back ethereal sounds on the record which was released as an EP in May 2014. In fact you can sometimes hear the birds on the tracks, which I love.

6. And the next thing you have planned?
- I'm planning a new album in 2018 with Prototype Musique who produced my first EP. On the album I'll be collaborating with local Greek and Turkish ethnic musicians which is an exciting new direction for me. I've been listening to a lot of this music after visiting my home country of Greece a few years ago and want to bring elements of it into the Brother to the Birds story. I've also been playing a lot of ukulele recently for my 1 year old daughter, so I think there will be elements of this on the new record. It's a lot safer playing a $30 instrument then a $2,000 Maton Guitar when there are babies around that want to touch everything that is precious to you!

Yes... ukulele is probably the most overused instrument in today's music world, but I feel it's important to capture a ukulele-heavy time of my life that may not present itself again!

7. Upcoming concerts, events...
-You can catch us perform in venues around Melbourne. Also we have an album launch in early 2019.

Pleo

ONLYROCKRADIO.COM
  1. What's your name?
My name is Pavel. My creative nickname is Pleo.
  1. Where are you from?
I am from Belarus, Minsk.
  1. Tell us how your journey has been from your beginnings until now.
I started to be interested in music. Since 16 I had learned to play the electric guitar. At the beginning, I was good at writing songs and I thought about making my band. I had many projects, I played with several musicians. At the result, I decided to cooperate with the VooDoo doll project, which I created in 2008. We recorded a few songs and moved to play in St. Petersburg. But because of the strained relations in the group I had to break up the team and since that moment, I started a solo career and created the project Pleo in 2016. Now my music is a mixture of such styles as grunge, electronica, punk, metal. I also have a project of electronic music Dolly Dolls.
  1. Tell us about your musical style, influences, ...
My music was influenced by such musical groups as Nirvana, Sepultura, Deftones, Korn, Linkin Park, Psyche, Jimi Hendrix and others.
  1. And the next thing you have planned?
In the future I plan to create my own band, with which I will give tours around the world.
  1. Upcoming concerts, events ....
I do not plan any upcoming concerts in the near future, because I write music myself and can not perform alone on stage.

OMAZONE

What's your name?

OMAZONE

Where are you from?
Melbourne, Australia

Tell us how your journey has been from your beginnings until now.

After playing my first shows in primary school (aged 10), many years years of playing live in original/covers bands as a teenager and in my twenties, some touring interstate and studio recording, I decided to take some time out from work and write, record and produce a solo album. I’ve written and arranged all the songs on this new album, do all the singing and play all the instruments - apart from the guitar solo on Track Two: "Let Loose On The Weekend" (played by a friend, the amazing Bryan Dodge). The entire OMAZONE album “Home Time!” was all recorded with one condenser microphone! Rawk AND Rowll!!!

Tell us about your musical style, influences, ...

I love a wide variety of musical styles, so I wanted this new album to contain a wide variety of styles, using different instruments, rhythms and percussion on each song. Every vocal was to be delivered and recorded differently, with a wide variety of backing vocals to make each song very distinct. I love a melody, so it all had to me melodic. Track One “Black & Disabled” and the very rockin slide of Track Ten "Interconnection" use only cigar box guitars, including a twelve string, a six string, four string and a cigar box bass - all hand made by my brother Dan! There's a great picture of these amazing guitars on the OMAZONE website. Crank it up, I hope you love the album as much as I did making it!

What has been your last project?
My new album "Home Time!" . It's a diverse and melodic album that traverses musical styles such as rock, pop, funk, blues and folk. Crank it up loud and enjoy with a drink or two.

And the next thing you have planned?
To find a good distributor and anyone who can help me get some air play, as I'm an independent artist. I want to spread the music as far as I can in different countries and try to get some global airplay. If you know of anyone who can help, I’m all ears. If you like the album, I’d love for you to add it to your Spotify playlist.

What's else?

I’d love to see a video for one of the songs off my OMAZONE album “Home Time !” as one has not been made yet. If anyone feels inspired to do one, I’d love to see it. If you want to hear the album in full, please check it out on the link above for Bandcamp, or you can add the album to your list on Spotify. Keep on rockin people and crank it up loud!

Tribulance

ONLYROCKRADIO.COM
1.    What's your name? Tribulance
2.    Where are you from? We hail from Tucson, Az.
3.    Tell us how your journey has been from your beginnings until now? Our journey has been a long one! We started this band way back in the early 90's, released a few albums, had some success in Europe, called it quit for awhile after that do to the every changing music business and direction the industry was headed at the time. Decided to re-group around 2012 to finish unfinished business; we felt when we stopped the first time that we left a lot of things unfinished. We had a Europe tour scheduled that unfortunately fell though do to management/promoter negotiations, so when that fell though, we kind of fell with it. It was disheartening at best!  So everything we had planned to do, kind of got put on hold till we regrouped in 2012. In 2018 we're writing for our newest album, went through an original member change, and are looking to book shows, but trust us when we say, there is still a lot of unfinished business and music that will surface soon!

4.    Tell us about your musical style, influences... Our musical style is straight in your face metal. We do what we do and stay true to who we are and where we came from. We don't try and write with the idea we're writing what people wanna hear, we write what WE wanna hear, what comes natural to us, and I think that's what makes us TRIBULANCE and that's what keeps us real! Our influences as a band are pretty much rooted in old school metal. Each member liking different bands than the other for the most part, but as a whole, it makes us who we are today.
5.    What has been your last project? Our last project was the completion of our newest album "The Aftermath of Lies." While this was our last completed project, we are in the process now of writing a new album for an early 2019 release.
6.    And the next thing you have planned?  West Coast Tour - Concept Video for the song "Oblivious" - New Stage Show - 2019 Album Release - Promote, Promote, Promote!
7.    Upcoming concerts, events... While we are working shows, nothing is in concrete yet until about July, but that may change really soon.
8.    Links of interest Make sure to check us on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/Tribulance2012/ .  And if you want the behind the scenes look, check out our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tribulance_/ and our Twitter: https://twitter.com/Tribulance_/.
9.    What's else? Look for TRIBULANCE's new album early 2019, keep an eye out for us playing a show near you sometime soon. While no band wants to go through member changes, we are pumped to showcase our new bass player and continue in this journey that has lead us up to this point as of now! We've got a lot of things planned for 2018-2019 so make TRIBULANCE a household name and check back in with us often for things are changing daily and shows may just pop up in an area near you. Follow us on any social site that mentions TRIBULANCE.  Thanks to the long time fans; and all the new fans all over the world that have made us feel loved! It's great to know people half way around the world are listening to our music and digging what we're doing still!  We're slowly growing to the masses one day at a time, one person at a time, and won't stop till we feel we've accomplished everything this bands namesake deserves.
