3. No Mind State started out as a prog rock group, but after the drummer and bassist joined the team 3 years ago, we started making all new music together. This turned out to be a great combination of musicians and the music naturally flowed in a more catchy rock direction. No Mind State went from being a hobby to something more. It is not a secret that it is tough being a rock band these days. We now work very hard to stay active in social media, playing gigs and recording in the studio. This is not only to stay relevant, but also to efficiently marked our music locally and abroad. Norway isn't that big on our genre, therefore we've found a more enthusiastic audience abroad, especially in the UK & USA. Last fall we played at the Water Rats Theater in London where we gained a loyal following. These days our time is focused around gigging around Norway and recording in the studio. This spring we will release our first EP, while a full album is in our sight for the future. 

4. In the beginning our influences was mainly in the prog rock genre, especially bands like Porcupine Tree and Pineapple Thief, but after No Mind State was reborn with new members, we found our selves more in the alternative rock genre with influences like; Foo Fighter, Queens Of The Stone Age, Rival Sons and many other of the newer rock legends that are more or less prominent these days. We basically like everything with big ass guitars, powerful drums and melodic rocking vocals.

5. In the last year we have released two singles, Hold Me Back I'm Leaving and Fodder of Galaxies, that will find its way to the upcoming 4 song EP to be released this spring. 

6. The next thing planned is continue gigging, making & recording kick ass songs that will find its way to a full length album sometime in the future. 

7. Upcoming gigs: 16th of June we are playing a summer festival just outside of Oslo City. We also got a release concert for our EP June 23 in the heart of Oslo. Other than that we are planning a tour of Norway later this summer.

1. What's your name?: Tor Erik Ursin and Sigrid Ryan.
2. Where are you from?: Nothern Norway.
3. Tell us how your journey has been from your beginnings until now: Both of us have grown up in inspiering music environments where we have had the oppertunity to enfold creativly.
   
   Sigrid has lived in San Francisco and Chicago, where she was involved in the local music environment, while Tor Erik has played piano, guitar, drums and base in several different bands since he was a child. Now we are mixing together our ideas, trying to make the best music we are capable of.  
4. Tell us about your musical style, influences,... With Remedies we are trying to mix our musical ideas together and combine elements from different generas with the goal of creating an original and exciting sound. Sigrid's musical influences originates from the Scandinavian music scene towards artists like Lykke Li and Susanne Sundfør, while Tor Erik has always been drawn towards groundbreaking artists like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan. He is also a huge Muse and Radiohead fan.  
5. What has been your last project? Our last published project was our single "Precious Disease". It can be found on Spotify, Soundcloud and other digital platforms.
6. And the next thing you have planned? Our next planned project is to release two new singles before the summer, and an EP sometime before christmas. We have allready finished one of the songs, and we can't wait to get it out there!
