Everyone Loves A Villain

Cinematic hard rockers Everyone Loves A Villain is set to release the first single from its upcoming album Conflict, Vol. 1 on Spotify and Apple Music. The track is “Eater of Worlds” and is a blazing sample of an amazing band that seems to do everything right. ELAV is made up of the Pacific Northwest’s finest rock musicians and each member adds his own fuel to the fire the group creates. The official music video for “Eater of Worlds” will be unleashed at the same time as the track.

ELAV is lead guitarist George Silva (Eclipse recording artists Five Foot Thick), guitarist Dylan Harris (Lucid), vocalist Chris McCoy (Oceans Divide), bassist Joel Hiatt and drummer Steve Ellis (The Fail Safe Project), and media manipulator Jimmy Hill (Amplified Wax Recording Studio). The group began organically out of an 18-year friendship shared by Silva, Harris, Ellis, and McCoy around the idea of a hard-hitting yet melodic new project featuring a diverse pool of talent. ELAV will release its debut record, Conflict, Vol. 1, during the Summer of 2018 and the set is the embodiment of that idea come to life. Songs like “Eater of Worlds” and “Empty Mirrors” mix power, precision, and politics in original ways and demand attention. The sound is unbreakable hard rock with a focus on high-level musicianship and ingenious songwriting. Comparisons to Thrice and Bring Me The Horizon have happened but only tell part of this story.

Holy Pinto

Holy Pinto

Holy Pinto is an indie pop band from Canterbury, England led by singer and songwriter, Aymen Saleh. Playing colorful pop rock anthems through the lens of pop-punk and emo, Holy Pinto sings about love, growing up, the tyranny of distance and, often, the bittersweet taste of nostalgia.

Originally formed as a duo between Aymen and his friend, Ryan Hurley, the project released its debut record, Congratulations, in April of 2016 and embarked on a restless tour-schedule involving runs in the UK, Europe and United States to support the release. Receiving favorable coverage from websites such as the AV Club and The Alternative and Gold Flake Paint, Congratulations ruminated heavily on the choice of whether to take root and nurture close relationships or live headless-chickenly - chasing travel, experience and dreams of becoming a musician.

Aymen would end up choosing the latter - stripping out the backseats of the band’s passenger van to install a mattress and make-shift bedroom while on tour in the United States. The project became more of a solo endeavor and nomadic entity, but eventually settled on Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a home base from which to release the project’s upcoming EP - Tales from the Travelling T-shirt Salesman.

On this record, Aymen picks up where he left off on Congratulations – having decided to roll the dice on a musician’s life. This collection of songs is a bit more summery than their predecessors, and listeners will find themselves soaking in vibes similar to some of Aymen’s favorite Scandinavian indie-pop musicians, such as Jens Lekman. The twisted versions of latin, reggaeton and cumbia-inspired beats and grooves on tracks such as “Gold Leaf” and “Bitter Enemies” are blended smoothly with infectious, sing-along choruses creating a sound that is relatable but inherently unique.

With boxes of merchandise in tow, Aymen finds himself out on the road and spreading the gospel of Holy Pinto from town to town again. Whether the destination is a one-person town in Nebraska, an art space in Alabama, or a barn in rural Pennsylvania, the mission remains the same: travel, play songs, and sell t-shirts.

Autopilot

Autopilot
Over the last few years, Canadian alternative rock band Autopilot has become a staple in the
Saskatoon indie music scene. Known for their thoughtful lyrics, powerful hooks, dynamic stage
show, and obsessive hard work, they so
mehow seem to effortlessly walk the line between
passionate art and massive appeal. Over the course of 3 full-length records, and one EP,
they’ve become road warriors, touring relentlessly across Canada and the US. They’ve been
praised for their tireless work ethic by publications like Canadian Musician Magazine, who called
them "quite possibly one of the hardest working bands in the country."
Autopilot's highly anticipated new record Afterglow , their most impressive and accessible
record to date, produced by legendary Saskatchewan producer, S.J. Kardash, and backed by
their most ambitious marketing campaign yet, finds the band reaching for bigger sounds, bigger
ideas, and much bigger audiences. The stunning music video for the anthemic new single
"Weightless", was shot in the fall of 2017 by Jared Peace, on the road deep in the American
South West, and is sure to garner plenty of well-earned attention.
Marlon Harder, the driving creative force behind Autopilot, has a knack for finding beauty in
simple moments, and hope in the challenges life tends to bring. Inspired by the early writing of
Modest Mouse, he seemed to know very quickly what he wanted to do in life. After the release
and College radio buzz of their first record Now It’s Time You Know What We’re Losing For ,
unexpected illness struck, effectively putting the band on the back burner for the foreseeable
future. But he never quit writing. Health improved, lineups changed, and in 2013 they teamed up
with S.J. Kardash for the release of Diamond Rough , a sophomore full-length forged in the
fires of struggle, faith, and growing maturity. The record widely expanded their media exposure
across North America; in print, online, commercial rock radio, CBC, podcasts, and through
licensing placement on major US television networks.

Their 2015 release, Desert Dreams , reunited the band with Kardash, and represented a
significant leap forward in both the ever expanding sound, and rapidly growing fan base the
band had built strongly upon with 2013’s Diamond Rough . Along with debuting on Earshot’s
Top 50 chart, Desert Dreams received heavy rotation on The Verge, Sirius XM’s Iceberg
Radio, and garnered the attention of New York’s prestigious CMJ; while securing the band
showcases at Toronto’s CMW and Indie Week festivals, AYE Fest in Cincinnati, Fairfield Revival
Festival in Minnesota, and opening doors to tour extensively in the United States.
Autopilot has always been a dedicated touring band. They spent five successful months on the
road in support of Diamond Rough which included their first US tour, three extensive US
tours and countless Canadian dates in support of Desert Dreams, and an eight week national
US tour in the fall of 2016 supporting the release of "Hurricane" / "Crooked Lines", their most
successful single up to that point. 2017 saw them once again crisscross the US with stops at
Jersey Shore Festival, Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and a
mainstage performance at Mesa Music Festival in Arizona supporting hard rock legends P.O.D.

The future is truly wide open for Autopilot. Everything they’ve learned is on the table for the
2018 release of Afterglow. They are casting their net wider, and going all in. Never content to sit
still or play it safe, they’ve crafted a remarkable live show, and plan on spending as much time
over the next year as possible, getting the new songs in front of as many new fans as they
possibly can.

Marshall Potts

Marshall Potts is a singer songwriter.

Marshall began writing songs at age 12 after an early heartbreak.  At 18 he began his musical journey when he formed a band with high school friends called the Cause.  Early performances under this name followed a rebranding of the band name to Saints and Poets.  Regular performances and tour dates followed to support the band’s first CD release.  Enjoyed success with 2 songs from the CD placed on a movie soundtrack, radio play, CFOX seeds CD, the Best of BC CD placement and many live performances.

Marshall took a break from the road to focus on his family in early 2000 but continued to write and record songs.  Health issues postponed a solo album release after donating his left Kidney in 2006.  A spiritual journey following a long recovery due to complications after the donation led to the release of his first solo album called Long Goodbyes.  Long Goodbyes album was released the first day of Spring 2017. This release has a collection of 12 alternative rock songs. A solid singer songwriter effort from this artist has depth and catchy melodies with passionate honest vocals.

Ready to go back on the road, Marshall is currently promoting Long Goodbyes to radio and playing select shows while arranging a tour to promote the release.  Always the songwriter, he is working on his follow up album.
